Our staff have over 15 years in the area of supporting, testing for and advising on matters related to dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD and autism. We have a neurodiverse team, so when we say we understand what it is like, we really do mean it!
We provide an extensive range of services for children and adults to help with your current and future needs.
Whether it be supporting parents and children to understand whether an assessment is right for them, testing for dyslexia in adults, diagnosing children or providing recommendations for home, school and tutors or providing tuition - we can help.
We know just how stressful it can be to get support for your child and we are very proud to say we are always there to help as much as we can. Our support does not end after the assessment.
We also work with adults, both in education and the workplace. Your situation guides our support. Whether you need advice, or perhaps, looking for a consultant who can support you we offer a range of services:
Testing for dyslexia in adults
Letters of evidence
Access to Work
Our testing and assessment services can lead to diagnosis for work or the Disabled Students Allowance. PDC can support you through every stage. We also offer other services including strategy
skills development, letters of evidence for bodies such as the DVLA or the Immigration Service. We can support you in making an access to work application, which can result in the provision of training and equipment for your job.
We have been working with disabilities in the workplace for over 10 yeas and provide impartial support, to both employers and employees, offering clear and straightforward advice on reasonable adjustments, workplace needs assessments, funding and training through Access to Work.
Our awareness training, consultancy and co-coaching services are instrumental in ensuring positive, productive work environments and ensures unintentional discrimination is avoided and employee's potential is fully realised which ultimately leads to a company's success.
We have developed a range of screening questionnaires to ensure that an assessment is the best option for you. We will only test for dyslexia where we see clear signs and all other factors (eyesight, medical conditions, language) have been discounted. This is very important to ensure you get the right support which comes through the correct diagnosis.
We work closely with Needs Assessors and other professionals to arrange and provide high quality support for their clients.
From the early stages of screening and diagnosis, PDC can assist and support you or your child in managing and over coming various challenges, whether suffering with Dyslexia or Dyspraxia, ADHD or other special needs condition.
Phoenix Consulting can help you with access to work schemes and also many other services for the workplace.
