Primary and Secondary Education There is an assumption that dyslexia will stops being an issue if support is in phonics is offered. This can be extremely helpful and does support students' literacy skills and confidence. However even if a child’s spelling and reading improve in primary school they will then need to learn to the art of completing course work and essay writing at the secondary stage, which are likely to highlight other areas of weakness with comprehension and planning issues to name a few.
